With a guest appearance from the returning Sian, siders lined up ready for a top performance against United services….all we were missing was our Captain .

Siders took an early lead with a great goal from silky who was composed in the D, appeared effortless.
United services pinned us back with a goal making it 1-1.
Finally captain abi decided to turn up and lead from the front. Siders worked hard with both wings keeping the width , lovely 1-2 plays all the way through the team and keeping possession well using back passes.

United services kept the pressure on and got a couple of short corners defended well by siders and at one point cherry’s womb (ouch)

Shortly before half time goal number 2 was slotted in by Daisy, over a diving keeper , joey providing the assist.

With Linda running the sideline siders came out after half time determined to increase the lead but the U.S. goal lead a charmed life despite many shots and great attacking play.

Final score 2-1. Win for Nash on her birthday (hope that beers not too warm in the rain buddy) Great performance all round.
