It was a big day fo everyone with a much needed win required and Dave being assessed for his level 1. No looking the other way this week (not that he ever listens to us when we ask him to).
With a full team plus subs (what is going on this year????) we started with the new piggy in the middle warm up and by the time the whistle went we were raring to go. 

We were under pressure in the first 5 minutes but we quickly got into the game and won a penalty corner where an impressive strike from becca resulted in the first goal of the match (although stolen on the line by some greedy goal chaser). 2 more goals followed from said person from some great midfield play by Nash, Dudley, Silky, Jude, emma and the Newman’s. 

After an inspiring half time talk from captain coolio we were all feeling this one was in the bag! 

Tina was on fire making some brilliant saves and taking out one of their players in the process (cheeky). The back line stayed strong with Nat, Gaynor (albeit a tinge in the hamstring) making some good tackles and Nash and chezza taking cheeky little runs up through the midfield. 

After a brilliant team effort b can smashed in another 2 and brought the final score to 5-0 (no washing required). 

Dave passed and becca got a well deserved POM. Celebrations continued into the night with the England (and Scotland) boys joining in with the winning day. Don’t know what we did to Dave but he ended up in the dog house – sorry Silky 😉
