1st league game of the season at a chilly Portsmouth, the first 10 mins were a glorious Waterside display of their passing game. I thought to myself this might be ok, however it was not to be a win for Waterside. The goals came with quick succession, one of which appeared to have been kicked in by the opposition. Nash was not happy and might have said a few swear words at the injustice and lack of honesty from the opposition. ( I am pretty sure I wouldn’t have owned up though, if it was me)The second half was more successful for us with only 1 goal scored against us. Abby and the forwards tried hard to score but to no avail. A well-deserved POM for Abby, some votes for Nash from what I can remember, who as usual was calm under pressure.

The highlight of the day, my first dirty sausages and chips. The only difference was their food was hot when served! The bad parts of the day a 5-0 defeat and the coldest showers ever imaginable. So my closing thoughts are, this half of the season can only get better and who let Katie, Joey and Becca go on holiday together.
