After being put back in our box in Wednesday night training Waterside took to the pitch with renewed Grrrrrrrability.
High levels of enthusiasm, accuracy and great communication meant that we soon found the back of the net from a well worked short corner.

The half time whistle saw Waterside with a confident lead.

Starting the second half as we left off we kept a tight ship. There were some smooth moves and tight one twos, threes and fours. We made good use of space and kept it wide. Becca looked a little green at one point (like Nat) but a 2 min spell on the side for some fresh air worked a treat and she came back with renewed vigour.

Romsey might have snuck two past us but our resilience stayed strong and it payed off. With Katie’s hat-trick and Chezza’s POM, possibly for being the most enthusiastic player you’ve ever seen, there is much to celebrate.

What a fantastic 5-2 team win. Well played all round.
