It all started on a balmy Saturday morning with the shadows of the teams sumo poses glistening off the pitch and after a moment of deciding who was taking off their underwear / under layers, we were off…. Of course with marge making her super match comeback!!!!!

The powerhouse of a team upfront, we were off and within minutes joey scored the first goal and that was it, the seal was broken and the goals from coolio Becca and Sarah just came flooding in!!!

After many agonising weeks of being in the right position, My-Linh finally scored her debut goal!!!! So it kind of dribbled over the goal in slow motion, but I’m taking that!!! Hopefully we will see more of those in coming matches ????

So now it all starts to get a bit fuzzy, perhaps it was all that adrenaline and focus and concentration on the match…..?!?

….no…. As it turns out, most of the team were fixated with what as going on off the pitch…..

Some sort of man or woman flaunting themselves on the side of the pitch and teasing us with the ultimate question of ” is she wearing pants, is she not wearing pants?!? ” seemed to grab the attention of the team….In either case, lucky for us Esther was on hand to call the fashion police!!!

Anyway, Back to the game….it appeared that coolio scored a stonking goal that got the debut double horns from Tina from the back. However, there was a tense 30 seconds with the umpire contemplating whether to give it to us, but clearly the double horns did something for him as the goal was given!

Finally, Emma nearly made it lucky 9 for the team with the super dive but it was just inches away (keep an eye on that carpet burn there!!!)

So the game ended with 8 super goals, another sweat free day for Tina and Pom going to cherry for her stellar performace this week (playing the most of the match on her tush!!) …..

I personally would would like to see more of that technique at training so let’s get Linda and Steve on the case!!!
