It was Watersides first home game in a while and a decision was to be made – game on or game off? With the sun starting to thaw the pitch, the game was given the thumbs up! Waterside were dominating the first half, meaning our defenders had a fairly relaxed job (Dudley still managed to take most the skin off her hand by falling over)! A disallowed goal later, some great play from Becca and Jo made the score 1-0 to the home team. Followed by 2 goals from Becca, and 2 from Marie the score was 5-0 at half time.

The level of play calmed down a little in the second half, but all were still working hard! Some awesome passes between the defence and the midfield had Gosport running around like headless chickens! Kate took a strike and the ball thundered past their keeper to make the score 6-0 followed by another (goal of the season contender hit on the volley ) from Marie, watersiders finished with a 7-0 win – yet another clean sheet for Tina! 

It was a fantastic team effort with a very essential flowing change of subs (we almost had enough for a rugby team)!
