Portsmouth and Southsea resisted our early and many advances on their goal in the first half so we only went in 1-0 up at half time ! However , after juicy oranges ( sorry for not giving our lovely umpire , Esther, any! ) normal play was resumed and we soon bombarded their goal and scored another 4! Well done to the goal scorers : Becka (1) Abbie (2) Abbie (1) Anna (1) ( great cross and sort of their own goal! )
Who could ask for more in today’s match? Well, to be honest … We could have scored more and it would have been nice for the keeper to touch it .. But lovin clean sheets! A pleasing performance and one that secures our well deserved position at the top of the table with an impressive goal difference!
