What a “Mint” match, with two missing to start we persuade Winch to umpire for us, meaning 10 start for ‘Siders. A very strong performance from the off, Em scores but gets disallowed 🙁 Then Becca shoots and scores from a short corner. Chez finally makes an appearance the “mints” are definately needed!! Think the alcohol fuelled a stunning effort. Unfortunately Tina’s clean sheets weren’t on the pitch (can’t say about home) Winch get the ball passed on a short corner. Then we have a mission on scoring 2 more before Keira arrives via taxi – can’t think why Chez?? and half time.
Second half starts and its just a see of red and goals for the ‘Siders. A few ice packs for ankles and a slight back tweak but an “8 – 1” epic MINT victory. With Marie becoming our top goal scorer netting 3 along with Becca 3, and both Keira and Jo with one. POM awarded to Sarah and Marie great strong play with some slides across the goal.
