On a slightly frozen pitch in Havant, Waterside got off to a roaring start ; with a slick move from Joe to Katy and wonderfully tipped in by Kelly, we were 1-0 up and looked like we would score more! The triangle passing was impressive and both umpires commented on it! Waterside looked very comfortable but one flunky move saw Havant equalise with 10 minutes to go!
Waterside pushed for the winner but just couldn’t get the ball in the net!!
In Kelly’s words, as she shook hands with the opposition, ” you must be well pleased with that point!”
To which they replied, “very! ”
In a close 7 horse race, Joey galloped into the lead to win POM !
All looking forward to Christmas do tonight – well behaved ladies ( oh – Katy’s not coming! )
