The ‘Siders came out strong onto pitch after some ball coaching from Steve and Linda, as part of the warm up drills. We manovered the ball well between the Pompey Pinks using the triangular formation Katie, Coolio and Emma moved the ball up pitch. Nash sending bullet balls across pitch reaching Kate on the right sending the game wide. Switching some of the forwards sees Stuie and Alex getting some action in the D. Super sub Dudders makes a replacement for Nat at the back. A good strong performance leaving the game 0-0 at half time.

Back to the starting line up for the second half. Emma and Coolio using their shields of steal to work the ball up pitch. Unfortunately them Pompey Pinks work their magic and get the ball down pitch, getting a short corner in the process, firing a goal past Tina and those amazing new kickers 1-0 to Pompey Pinks. Joey moves up pitch leaving the defenders behind for a Waterside short corner. Becca from the side line decides to shake things up for the forwards, unfortunately Kelly gets a calling from the yoga retreat to find herself again and makes a hasty exit dashing past Mr Nash and his rather big ……….. umbrella Ladies!!! Luckily for us ‘Siders Mylinh super sub no. 2 gets straight on and into action diverting eyes back to the game. Gaynor rockets the ball up pitch for some more ‘Sider action in the D, but Pompey soon get it back getting another short corner as final whistle blows. Cracking game by all shame about the score 🙁 Em your speed and agility got you the POM vote and thanks Steve for umpiring.
