Waterside were in smoking form today as they eased to a 2 nill victory against Basingstoke.

As the temperature in Hampshire begins to plummet, the Siders knew only a smokin performance would seal a win and a well needed 3 points.

After an arousing team talk out the Siders charged ready for action. Birthday girl Taggart swaggers onto the pitch two mins before push back (jack ass) to complete the line up ( being the closest to the venue and still the last to arrive, special even by her standards).

After dominating a competitive but friendly first half we went into the break at a stale mate, despite several attempts on goal.

On comes impact sub joey and a slight reshuffle moving the versatile Emma into defence (yet another string to her bow). Finally Kelly managed to break the dead lock and score, even though she was facing away from goal! Minus the kn##ish celebration!!. Moments later Katie scored a cracker through the keepers legs.

A well deserved 2 – 0 win and an awesome team performance! Nat making some great tackles and passes (even if Coolio didn’t know they was coming) made her POM, congratulations.
