The mood was set by 3 tunes eye of the tiger, final countdown and don’t stop believing…we were up for it despite the ferry journey and driving rain.

Things started well but the IOW took an early lead with a fast break.
Some good periods of possession for the waterside couldn’t produce a goal and we were 2 nil down at the break.

Another round of eye of the tiger riled us up for a superb second half. Quick passing allowed us to break down their defence. Jo put the ball high for Kelly to drive into Optimus prime position passing it to the P spot where Katie was perfectly positioned to score into an open goal.

With the game drawing to a close the whole team were defensively strong, stopping waves of attack. Unfortunately despite a great team performance, the equaliser did not come for us and the game finished 2-1.

Winner of POM this week was Kate!! She held her wide position spreading play and had great ball retention. Great game Kate!
